May I suggest you go to HBO and watch the movie Blockchain. It was made in 2017, and describes how elections can be stolen. Some of your new friends in the Democratic Party are interviewed.

Hillary keeps saying that the 2016 election was stolen. She did concede the election the next morning, but she’s never stopped saying that it was stolen. I think you should’ve mentioned that in your article. Trump needs to win by numbers too big to rig!

Many thanks for these solid examples. What conclusion do you draw? We're not headed for a circus, but for a replay of January 6, 2021 -- another insurrection or attempted coup. What are we to do? I suggest giving Harris the largest possible majority in both the popular vote and the electoral college. Then there will be an empirical argument for keeping the constitution intact. Both sides claim that if the other wins it will be our last election, but only Trump calls the end of elections a benefit of voting for him. ("You won’t have to vote anymore," he promises. "We'll have it fixed.") Hal’s evidence demands only one action. Any vote not for Harris, including abstention, is a vote for Trump. It's imperative we resist Trump. Vote for Harris.

I don't know who will win the election. I can't stand either candidate - Trump due to his behavior and Harris due to her political history and agenda. I almost, but could not bring myself to vote for Trump - so cast my mail-in ballot for another. My hope, for my grandchildren, is that the 2 parties will find qualified centrist (left or right) candidates in 2028 that the majority of Americans can/will support.
